Q. When will I receive the webinar login information?
A. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email from GoToWebinar. You will receive login instructions (1) week, (1) day, and (1) hour prior to the webinar start time. IF you do not receive the email, please make sure you are using the email you registered with and check your spam/junk or promotions folders. Please also add email@example.com to your list of safe senders.
Q. What if I cannot attend the live webinar?
A. If you are unable to attend the webinar during its live session but wish to view a recorded version of the webinar, please register for the live webinar and we will send you a link to the recorded version the following day if you do not login to the live webinar.
Q. Can I get a copy of the handouts?
A. Yes! Once you have logged into the webinar, the handouts will be available for download on your GoToWebinar Control Panel. If you forget to download them during the webinar, or just can’t seem to figure out how to download, no worries; we will also send a link to the handouts by email the day after the webinar.
Q. What if I work at CSC or my workplace has firewalls installed?
A. The firewall at the Correctional Service of Canada does not allow GoToWebinar access. If you wish to attend a live webinar from your institution, you will need to call in by phone and view the handouts online (or you can try using your own mobile device with the GoToWebinar app downloaded from your device’s app store). If you wish to attend by phone, please email us and we will send you a copy of the handouts so you can follow along. If you prefer to skip the live event all together, simply do nothing and we will send you a link to the recorded version the day after the webinar.
A. On that same note, several other correctional institutions’ firewalls also prevent certain pages from being visible or from working properly; included in this are our payment pages. You will need to register for our programs on another network (home, Starbucks…). Thanks 🙂
Q. How will I receive my Continuing Education (CE) credit?
A. The day after the webinar you will receive a follow up email from ConCEPT. Please make sure to check your spam/junk or promotions folders if you do not receive this email, which contains instructions and a link to obtain your CE certificate. To meet the conditions of our CE approvals, you will be required to complete a brief quiz/evaluation and will then be able to download/print your certificate.
